No need to hide it? You definitely watched Willy’s Wonderland (2021) starring Nicholas Cage. It was a really good “dumb fun” movie where you got to see some badass fight scenes. And today we’re going to talk about it.

Basic Summary: Nicholas Cage (he has no name) was hired to work as a janitor at “Willy’s Wonderland” because his tires were slashed and the person fixing his cars doesn’t accept credit. The store was closed because the employees were murderers and made this establishment to kill children. I know, shocking.

There are eight animatronics: Arty the Alligator, Siren Sara, Knighty Knight, Gus the Gorilla, Ozzie the Ostrich, Tito the Turtle, Cammy the Chameleon, and the leader, Willy the Weasel. And Nicholas Cage had to fight all of them.

8. Siren Sara

Siren Sara is at the top of the list. The fight lasted pretty short. You would think that if you were fighting a fairy, then it would happen in the forest. There is literally a forest in the building as we saw when Liv fell through the vent. But no, it was in a playroom. And it took one little headbutt to win the fight. Not really exciting. Also, she doesn’t die until she gets blown up but that’s more of a suicide.

Something you’ll find often is that these fights feel really one sided. First of all, it feels like Nicholas Cage is just a man who can kill anyone. Second, it feels like a bunch of plot armor as he wins more and more fights. Just keep that in mind while we scroll through this list.

7. Tito the Turtle

Unfortunately, Nicholas Cage didn’t fight Tito the Turtle. It was Liv. She just beat him with a shotgun. But I will admit, when Tito the Turtle showed Liv the shotgun bullets, that was kinda badass.

6. Cammy the Chameleon

Cammy the Chameleon was a pretty cool fight. But she doesn’t die at the arcade. She dies along Siren Sara at the play place. I thought it was funny when Nicholas just left the fight and gave the knife to Liv.

The whole fight between Liv and Cammy was pretty boring. Less action pack and gruesome as the rest. But Nicholas comes back from his 15 minute break and raps a rope on Cammy’s neck and start lassoing her like a toy. It’s hilarious.

5. Artie the Alligator

Artie the Alligators fight is just a meh. It’s not too gruesome, it’s not too exciting. It’s just “Oh, he’s killing people and he died. Rip.” He got Artie the Alligator on his back, punching his head but then he rip his spine out. It’s not the best fight but certainly not the worst.

4. Ozzie the Ostrich

Ozzie the Ostrich was the first person Nicholas Cage had to fight. When Nicholas first saw Ozzie face to face, Nicholas was just poking Ozzie, probably making him angry and creating tension. Although short, the fear in Ozzie’s face when Nicholas Cage broke his mop is priceless. Also, Nicholas Cage rips out the spine of this bird like it’s Mortal Combat which is fun.

3. Knighty Knight

The introduction to Knighty Knight was freaking AMAZING. The song Willy the Weasel “6 little chickens,” was an amazing song. And the final line “5 little chickens” it was like, who’s gonna die. And then Knighty Knight comes from behind and STABS a man.

But the end to his chapter was amazing. Of course, Nicholas Cage beats the daylights out of Knighty Knight and then gets beheaded by his own sword. AMAZING!

2. Gus the Gorilla

Gus the Gorilla would probably be the first if the gangleader wasn’t there. First of all, the hiding in the stalls was a pretty good tactic. And then when Nicholas couldn’t find him in the stall because Gus was on top was a alright spook. But then, Gus made the worst mistake by giving Nicholas a place to hide and that’s how he loss. Nicholas found a plunger and totally rekted Gus and the curbstomp to kill him was AWESOME!

1. Willy the Weasel

Towards the entire movie, it felt like it was hyping up the battle between the Janitor and Willy the Weasel. So when we got to the part where they actually fought, you know it was a showdown.

At the beginning of the fight, Willy the Weasel was just owning Nicholas. Willy was just swiping and punching until he just throws the Janitor into the ball pit. But Willy should’ve killed him when he had the chance. The Janitor gets up, grabs a stick and a bag full of soda and starts beating the daylight out of Willy and eventually, the Janitor just beheads him.

The fight was good. It wasn’t as hype as the movie was promoting. But it lasted longer than most of the other ones. Also, it felt like the two were equally matched but the Janitor got the better of him.

Conclusion

It doesn’t matter if the deaths weren’t all equally badass, but what does is having fun while watching the movie. Personally, I had to steal the movie in order to watch it but I’m glad I did. The movie is a ten out of ten, definitely recommend. Which fight was your favorite?

One more thing: my name is Abel Larsen. This is my first blog so if it isn’t “as good” as someone who’s been blogging for years, you know why. Also, it took a lot time and storage to make this blog. Towards the end, I got pretty lazy. And the quality of the gifs aren’t even good. But I would just like to thanks you for reading this silly little blog of mine!
